The Prime Minister and the deputies of the Bundestag discussed the situation in Nagorno Karabakh

Today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the members of the parliamentary group of the German Bundestag, headed by Tabea Rösner, the vice-chairman of the group.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the parties exchanged ideas on the regional situation, security challenges, and the peace agenda. Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the role of the EU’s long-term observation mission.

They referred to the crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor. In terms of settlement of the problem, the consistent response of the international community, the implementation of the decision of the International Court of Justice published on February 22 by Azerbaijan was highlighted.

The Prime Minister referred to the reforms implemented in our country, the recorded high economic indicators and highlighted the importance of the support of the European Union and Germany to the democratic agenda of Armenia.
