Stanislav Antić, director and founder of one of Zadar’s most successful companies, the Special Machine Tool Factory (SAS), passed away on Wednesday in Zadar at the age of 92, Kalelarga.info writes.
The company SAS participated in the realization of numerous city institutions and facilities, from the Zadar Pediatrics through the marina Dalmacija Bibinje-Sukošan, the ship factory SAS-Vektor to the Bus Station. In 2016, the County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Zadar awarded him the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Antić received recognition for his life’s work from the Zadar County Chamber, and then from the City of Zadar, and he will be remembered as a man who all his life had a strong feeling for the needs not only of his workers but also the wider community.
