In Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, 25-year-old Ahmed Ahmedov killed his father, Mehman Ahmedov, his mother, Bayke Ahmedova, and his younger brother, born in 2015, whose name has not been disclosed.
The investigation revealed that before killing his parents and brother, he had previously killed his sister Elmira Ahmedova and her 5-year-old daughter in the same way.
Ahmedov was arrested. The killing took place in Khata district of Baku at 16:00 local time.
The murdered mother, Bayke Ahmedova, was the director of secondary school No. 59 of Khata region.
So far, it is not known why 25-year-old Ahmedov killed his relatives, but according to neighbors, there was some dispute in the family.
The murder was committed in the house No. 29 on General Shikhlinsky street, Khata district of the capital. Neighbors reported the crime to the law enforcement officers.
A criminal case has been opened on charges of intentional murder. The investigation is ongoing.
On February 13, another crime took place in the capital of Azerbaijan: Rovshan Guliyev stabbed and killed his ex-wife Sevinj Ibrahimova in Narimanov district. He was arrested.
