Both Russia and Ukraine demanded to discuss the events in Bucha at the UN Security Council

The permanent representatives of Russia and Ukraine demanded to convene the UN Security Council to discuss the situation in Bucha. The permanent representative of the Russian Federation said that the discussion would take place on Monday, Zelensky – on Tuesday.

Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation Dmitry Polyansky wrote in his Telegram channel that the UN Security Council should discuss “the provocations of Ukrainian radicals in Bucha”: “We will bring the presumptuous Ukrainian provocateurs and their Western patrons to clean water,” he wrote.

According to Polyansky, the meeting will meet in the afternoon of Monday, April 4.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening video message, said that the meeting would be held on Tuesday, and the topic would be “war crimes in Bucha and other cities during the Russian occupation.”
