Fourth day of anti-Israeli marches in Jordan: mostly teenagers and students participate

For the fourth evening in a row, anti-Israeli demonstrations took place in the Jordanian capital, not far from the Israeli Embassy.

As in the previous three days, demonstrators tried to approach the Israeli Embassy and were pushed back by police and gendarmerie. Several people were detained.

Fewer people are taking part in the demonstration than in previous days. These are mainly teenagers and students.

Participants in this demonstration demand that the Jordanian government take practical measures to “stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.” They demand the cancellation of all agreements with Israel, including the peace treaty (Wadi Arba agreement), the gas agreement, as well as a ban on land delivery of goods from the Persian Gulf countries through Jordan, as well as a ban on the export of vegetables.
