The Russian army launched a missile attack on Ukraine;  Thermal power plant and psychiatric hospital damaged

Russian troops launched a combined missile strike on Ukraine on the night of April 27, Meduza reports, citing a statement by Nikolai Oleshchuk, commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to him, the Russian military used 34 air, ground and sea-based missiles: nine Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, nine Kh-59/Kh-69 guided air missiles, two anti-aircraft missiles fired from the S-300 complex, two cruise missiles fired from the Iskander-K complex, four Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and eight Kalibr cruise missiles.

According to the Ukrainian side, 21 Russian missiles were destroyed: six Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles, eight Kh-59/Kh-69 missiles, six Kalibr cruise missiles and one cruise missile fired from the Iskander-K complex.

In Kharkov, the territory of the third psychiatric hospital came under attack from S-300 missiles, said the head of the Kharkov regional administration Oleg Sinegubov. According to him, the rocket hit between the buildings of the medical institution. As a result of the shelling, windows, the roof and interior decoration of the premises, the building of the catering unit, one of the departments, and the boiler room were damaged. A 53-year-old woman was injured.

The Russian army attacked energy infrastructure in the Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Equipment is damaged. The shift supervisor was injured at one of the facilities. The Ukrainian energy company DTEK reported that Russian troops attacked four thermal power plants of the company.

In the Lviv region, two critical energy infrastructure facilities in the Stryisky and Chervonogradsky districts came under missile attack. As a result of the hits, fires started, they were extinguished, and destruction was recorded. No one was injured and no residential infrastructure was damaged.

In the Dnepropetrovsk region, energy facilities in the Dnieper and Krivoy Rog regions came under attack, said the head of the region, Sergei Lysak. According to him, several fires occurred. A 39-year-old man was wounded and was hospitalized in moderate condition. In the Krivoy Rog region there were interruptions in water supply.
