CBS:n on April 6, Tyson was released from prison, where he had served a 24-year sentence for kidnapping and theft. According to the parole authorities, he had neglected his obligation to register.

News agency AP published an extensive report last month that found that more than a thousand people arrested in the US have died in custody as a result of police actions that were not intended to kill the suspect.
