Two thermal power plants of the Ukrainian energy supplier DTEK were attacked, the company reported on Telegram, without specifying their location.
Possible energy supply problems
To carry out its “massive attack” against Ukraine, Moscow used cruise missiles as well as Iranian-made Shahed drones according to the daily report of the Ukrainian general staff published on Facebook. Ukraine was able to destroy 37 of the 40 drones launched against it, the army said.
In the city of Kharkiv and its region, Moscow carried out “at least 10 strikes against essential infrastructure”, explained Oleg Synegoubov on the social network Telegram without mentioning possible victims. The kyiv region was also “massively attacked” by combat drones and missiles, according to the head of the local military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko. “A critical infrastructure installation” was attacked there. Missiles also hit sites in the Zaporizhia region (south) and Odessa where a fire broke out after the fall of a drone.
