Attack planned in Germany: charges against terrorist Tajiks |  Regional

Düsseldorf – They planned attacks in the spirit of the “Islamic State”, acquired weapons and had already spied on targets in Germany! The Federal Prosecutor’s Office has now filed a case before the State Security Senate of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court (NRW) Charges were brought against seven terror suspects.

The GSG-9 accessed the terrorist cell in July 2023 Düsseldorf, Gladbeck, Gelsenkirchen, in the Rhein-Sieg district, in the Warendorf district and in the Ennepe-Ruhr district. At the same time there were two arrests in Eindhoven and Breda (Netherlands).

According to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, the Tajiks Mukhammadshujo A., Nuriddin K., Shamshud N., Said S. and Raboni Z. as well as the Turkmen Ata A. and the Kyrgyz Abrorjon K. are sufficiently suspected of having founded a domestic terrorist organization and taking part in it to have.

They are also – with the exception of the accused Mukhammadshujo A. – the support of foreign countries terrorist organization “Islamic State” (IS) accused.

In this context, Shamshud N., Nuriddin K., Abrorjon K., Ata A. and Said S. are also said to have violated the Foreign Trade Act.

The seven suspects are said to have known each other for a long time and share the same radical Islamic views. Shortly after the start of the war in Ukraine in spring 2022, they are said to have entered Germany from there almost simultaneously.

They are said to have then formed a terrorist organization with a defendant who was being prosecuted separately in the Netherlands with the aim of carrying out IS attacks in Germany or other countries in Western Europe.

According to the indictment, the group is said to have had contact with members of the regional IS branch “Islamic State Khorasan Province” (ISPK) abroad.

In order to plan their plans, they are said to have met regularly and looked at attack targets in Germany and scouted out possible crime scenes.

With the exception of Mukhammadshujo A., all of the accused are said to have repeatedly collected money for the terrorist organization IS from April 2022 to May 2023 and transferred a total of several thousand euros to IS terrorists abroad.

A concrete attack plan was in place when the police intervened law enforcement agencies but not yet.
