A source in the Hamas delegation told the France-Presse news agency that the next stage of negotiations in Cairo on a deal with Israel has ended. The Hamas delegation returns to Doha to continue consultations.
An AFP source said that “hopes for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas have weakened in recent days. Deep differences remain between the parties, which mainly concern the fighting in the sector.”
