The airport in Tehran is back in operation

According to reports, after two months of inactivity, The Imam Khomeini International Airport in Iran has returned to partial operations. The first flights that took off were to Istanbul, Turkey, Muscat in Oman and Medina in Saudi Arabia. Of course, these are three destinations to which there are no flights from Israel, and to two of them, Israelis cannot enter at all.

In addition, officials noted that discussions are underway with foreign airlines to restore transit traffic through Iranian airspace, which has been completely emptied of flights since the start of the war in late February.

As in Israel, Iran is also trying to convince as many foreign companies as possible to return to the country, but most of them do not want to do so. In addition, Iran also suffers from a shortage of jet fuel, which threatens the increase in flight prices in the Gulf state.
