Long Island Killer’s Daughter: Dad Murdered Seven Women in Our Home

Long Island (New York State) – Rex Heuermann is considered one of the most brutal serial killers in the USA. The 62-year-old confessed to killing eight women. There are probably more victims. Because on the beach at Gilgo Beach alone, where Heuermann dumped the bodies, the police found the remains of eleven people. In a crime documentary from the US streaming provider Peacock, an FBI profiler believes it is possible that the 1.93 giant murdered his way across the country.

What the daughter says about the serial killer

In the last episode of the documentary (“The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets”), the serial killer’s daughter also spoke. According to Victoria Heuermann, her father came forward more than two years after his arrest. Heuermann wanted to talk to her, face to face. At the meeting, he confessed to the murders and claimed to have been “overpowered by demons.” He didn’t perceive his victims as people.

“I just thought, OK, he’s a loving father and a Serial killers“, said Victoria Heuermann. And later: “Seven women were murdered in this house. That’s hard to bear.” Disturbing: The architect had lured several of his victims into a room in the basement. “He said Karen, Valerie and Jessica were murdered and dismembered in this room. And my father confirmed that one of them was killed in bed.” Victoria Heuermann had “watched TV and played video games in this room as a child – and maybe three meters away from where these women were mutilated.”

Rex Heuermann, in photos Stylish with a tie and partingpleaded guilty on April 8, 2026 to killing the eight women – one of them in the family car. The series of murders remained undiscovered until 2010, and the killer remained at large until 2023. Then a hair, a witness and pizza crusts were his undoing. Investigators found the hair on a corpse. The witness brought Heuermann’s name into play. And in order to arrest the giant man, investigators caught one Pizza box and leftover food that he had carelessly thrown away from a garbage can in Manhattan – bingo!

While in custody, Heuermann initially denied all allegations. Eventually, according to the FBI, the “evil, narcissistic and sadistic psychopath” agreed to a deal with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and confessed. The sentence is to be announced on June 17th.
