Zelenski angry with allies: We didn’t stop Russian rockets because we lack missiles

As announced, so it happened. A few hours after Zelensky warned that Russia was preparing a massive attack, Kiev was bombarded with rockets and drones. At least 11 people were killed, while more than 70 were injured. Russia launched 68 missiles and 351 drones during the night.

Zelensky called on allies to supply him with missiles for Patriot systems because Ukraine is failing to stop Russian attacks on Kiev.

– Our warriors did a good job today in intercepting drones and cruise missiles, but unfortunately, it was not the case with Russian ballistic missiles. The reason lies in the insufficient supply of intercepted missiles. As long as missiles for the Patriot system remain in the warehouses of our allies, Russia receives an open invitation to continue the “defeat” of residential buildings – Zelensky said.

He added that NATO has enough strength to stop terror against civilians, and the summit in Ankara will soon be held and Zelenski expects concrete solutions.

– It is of critical importance that the world, first of all the United States of America and our European partners, come out of the NATO summit in Ankara with strong decisions to support our anti-aircraft defense, and thus to protect the lives of ordinary people. The United States and Europe have enough strength to stop this terror – said Zelenski.
