The Israeli Ministry of Transport is in talks with Elon Musk about building a large enterprise in the Dimona area for the development or production of autonomous driving technologies, Maariv reports.
According to the report, the initiative is to be part of a broader package of cooperation with the American entrepreneur, who plans to fly to Israel at the end of May.
In particular, this package plans to include the deployment of Starlink terminals on trains, aircraft on domestic flights and on highways in areas with poor cellular coverage.
