VNPAY’s digital tax payment and payment solution is in the top 10 Sao Khue 2026

Sao Khue Award is organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association, to honor outstanding information technology and digital transformation products and solutions. This year, the program applies a classification model according to 5 levels of maturity, restructures 8 key technology field groups and also announces the Vietnam Digital Technology Solution Map for the first time.

According to the organizers, participating units must go through 5 rounds of evaluation from documents to actual verification. Surpassing more than 300 nominations, VNPAY was named in the top 10 with a set of digital payment and tax payment solutions for business households and small and medium enterprises.

“all-in-one” solution set

VNPAY’s digital payment ecosystem includes PhonePOS, SmartPOS, payment gateway and VNPAY-QR, supporting many forms of payment such as scanning QR codes, physical cards. The system allows recording transactions and updating revenue in real time, helping sellers reduce manual compilation operations and limit errors during operations. In particular, the PhonePOS solution allows business households to use the phone as a POS device to make payments by scanning codes and tapping physical cards without investing in additional specialized machinery.

On a synchronized revenue data platform, VNPAY integrates tax declaration support tools such as sales management software, electronic invoices, electronic contracts and digital signatures on the same system. Synchronizing processes helps business households and businesses fulfill tax obligations more easily, while reducing pressure on investment and operating costs.

VNPAY representative said that the solution set is developed on a technology platform capable of processing large amounts of transaction data and meeting international information security standards. Enterprises also apply AI and data analysis to support transaction control, reduce manual operations and support business households to track revenue and declare taxes more conveniently.

Currently, VNPAY is implementing a free program with a full set of digital tax payment solutions until the end of 2028 for business units, with no limit on the number of electronic invoices and digital signatures.

Promote digital transformation on a large scale

After the flat tax form was abolished, VNPAY has coordinated with tax authorities in many localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang and Da Nang… to promote the implementation of digital tax payment solutions nationwide. At the same time, the business expanded cooperation with nearly 20 banks such as Agribank, Co-opBank, VPBank and Sacombank… to bring cashless payment solutions closer to business activities.

The combination of VNPAY’s technology platform and banking network helps expand access to digital solutions for business households and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Tools are developed to be easy to use, optimize costs and limit the need to invest in more equipment or complex operating resources.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, owner of a retail store in Yen Hoa ward (Hanoi) said VNPAY’s solutions help her save time and reduce confusion in synthesizing revenue and declaring taxes.

“For our small businesses, sales management software combined with automatic tax declaration support has a simple, easy-to-operate interface, which helps a lot in business,” Ms. Hoa shared.

Evaluating VNPAY’s solutions, Mr. Phung Viet Thang, Member of the Board of Examiners, said that ease of use is an important factor to help business households quickly adapt to digital transformation. According to him, the ability to synchronously connect VNPAY with tax authorities and the banking system contributes to simplifying the process for businesses and business households.
