The Chambers of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers expect a partnership with the new Minister of Construction, the chambers said on Tuesday.
As stated, the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers, the Croatian Chamber of Mechanical Engineers and the Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers welcome the proposal to Ivan Paladina be the new Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and State Property.
The three chambers of engineering hope that his election as minister will appoint an expert who has project and management experience in the field of construction.
The new minister is facing a demanding task – a significant acceleration of reconstruction. His work will be evaluated by the professional chamber according to the results he achieves in the future. The three chambers of engineering expect to establish a partnership and cooperation with the new minister, especially in the area of accelerating the reconstruction of earthquake-affected buildings, the statement said.
