The company that seeks to increase sales with Javier Milei’s strategy

Reality has always inspired advertising and marketing actions for companies. Among the latter is, for example, that of Arcor and his “we are not in campaign, we are in Campagnola”, for its canned brand, with iconic phrases from Argentine presidents.

Other companies, for example, used the hose “stockeate” in the midst of the last change of government, appealing to the fact that all Argentines knew that a devaluation and skyrocketing of prices was coming. Or the company that launched “Cuchuflito” products after Cristina Kirchner ignored the second brands, telling them “Pindonga and Cuchuflito”.

Now Newsan, the same company that gave away the television if Argentina became champion in 2018 and repeated the promo in 2022 with the Noblex brand, launched the promo “Chainsaw and blender” for his Philco brand, in which he will give away a blender to those who buy a chainsaw.

In case it is not clear who is mentioned in the campaign, the ads state: “In other words, let’s say, a promo,” repeating the “let’s say” of President Javier Milei, who quickly went out to celebrate the event with posts on Instagram and retweets. in X, saying it was “a genius.”

The campaign, Philco explained, “seeks to capture attention by understanding the situation and taking advantage of real time.” And he achieved it at least because of the rebound he had on social networks. It is clear that the brand seeks to gain presence among consumers more than just selling chainsaws: the campaign lasts four days (until Tuesday) or until the stock of 20 chainsaws is exhausted.

Javier Milei shared Philco’s advertising on Instagram and described it as “a genius.”

Milei campaigned with the chainsaw in reference to the sharp cuts in public spending What he planned to do if he was elected President. And, upon taking office, he effectively passed the chainsaw through many sectors, from public employees to funds from universities and snack bars.

But as of December 10, the blender was added to the chainsaw, that is, in the face of rampant inflation that reached 25% in December after the devaluation, many expenses remained at the same nominal values, which in practice represents cuts. This package included pensions, social aid and salaries.
