At the age of 54: Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston’s divorcee, became a father

At the age of 54, Jennifer Aniston’s ex, actor Justin Theroux, became a father. Theroux and his wife Nicole Braydon Bloom, who is 22 years younger than him, gave birth to their first son, and last night (Saturday night) published a joint post on Instagram in black and white of the little one naming his father. “He’s here,” the two wrote next to the photo, “we’re so in love.”

The couple revealed the pregnancy in December 2025, nine months after they tied the knot, when Bloom showed off her baby bump at the season two premiere of Fallout, which Thero joined. A week after exposing his stomach, the actor took a selfie in front of a mirror and was gloating about his wife, while in the same month Bloom also shared photos from a vacation, showing her stomach again. Later, she already walked pregnant on the red carpet of the last Critics’ Choice Awards.

The couple’s names were first romantically linked in 2023, when Thoreau proposed the following summer during the Venice Film Festival in Italy. The two got married in March 2025, after two years of dating.

Thoreau was previously married to Jennifer Aniston, with whom he had a total of seven years. Four years after the divorce in 2018, the star told the magazine Allure on the difficulty of getting pregnant through IVF in her late 30s and 40s. “This ship has sailed,” she said then, “no more ‘maybe? Maybe’ – I don’t have to think about it anymore.”

Despite the breakup, the two remained in good touch. Theroux told Esquire magazine: “We don’t talk every day, but we call each other, make faces, hang out. I mean it when I say I cherish our friendship.” As evidence, he even favored Aniston with a like he made for her marriage launch with her partner, hypnotherapist Jim Curtis.
