The Colombian writer Mario Jaramillo is working on a new novel set in New York, with narrative roots in Spain, in which he will delve into the links between identity and memory.
Resident in Spain, Jaramillo has developed a good part of his work in the Hispanic sphere, where he has combined fiction and essays in dialogue with the existentialist tradition, especially with the work of Albert Camus.
He is the author of novels such as ‘The Sea of Camus’ and ‘The Duke of Medina Sidonia and His Cousin Lover’, as well as the essay ‘The Free Man’.
