Finns Eurovision representatives are involved this summer Sing-along at Skansenissa. Appears in the opening episode of the summer series, one of Sweden’s most watched programs Wrapper together with a Swedish one Basshunterin with, and in the penultimate episode of the summer are visiting Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen.
Popular sing-along series this summer season starts after Midsummer on Tuesday, June 23. The opening episode also features Sweden’s Eurovision representative this year Felicia and the Hooja duo from Lapland, Sweden, performing with face masks.
Sing-along at Skansenia has been shown in Sweden for the first time in 1979 and regularly every summer since 1990, and has often been the most watched program in the country. The viewership record, more than 2.2 million, is from the summer of 2012.
The program the popularity has subsequently decreased, and in the summer of 2024 it reached its lowest reading, when there were 715,000 viewers. Last summer Sing-along at Skansen gathered around 1.3 million viewers at its peak.
Since 2023, he has been the host of the program Pernilla Wahlgren.
Yle has sent Sing-along at Skansenia broadcast live on TV1 channel with commentary in Finnish since 2017 and before that on Yle’s Swedish-language Yle Fem.
In Finland, the program has received more than 400,000 viewers at its best.
