According to the Box-Office Pro website, the film broadcast on 758 screens attracted 234,000 spectators on its first day. It alone accounts for nearly 94% of the entries recorded by the week’s new releases. With an average of 76 entries per session, The Odyssey achieves the fourth best performance for a Wednesday release this year, behind the biopic devoted to the King of Pop, the Korean concert film Stray Kids The DominATE Experience and the horror film Backrooms .
