“You will not last 3 minutes”: Fans laugh at the Iranian “hulk”

Sajjad Gharibi is preparing for the first fight of his life against Martin Ford, but his fans and the rest of the industry are preoccupied with his bizarre and controversial training in which he is seen being beaten with a plank and bending irons.

Fans who watched videos uploaded by the Iranian giant as he prepares to fight Martin Ford in April mocked his controversial training methods. In the latest video released by the fighter, whose real name is Sajjad Gharibi, he can be seen snatching punches in the abdomen, doing bodybuilding exercises and bending a metal bar.

Gharibi has released several videos ahead of his fight with Martin Ford, he even threatened his opponent while crushing an orange with one hand. The two will compete in the O2 arena in London on April 2 when they both enter the arena for the first time.

The fight, which spearheads Boxstar’s famous boxing event, will consist of four two-minute rounds approved by the professional boxing association.

Some fans think Gharibi will “break down” after the release of his bizarre videos that include unconventional ways to prepare for battle. One fan described his ongoing video as “clown work” while predicting the fight would not go through the first round.

“Dude it’s not battle training, it’s a clown job that this guy doesn’t even hit you. We all hope for a decent fight but I’m afraid it’s a knockout in the first round.” Wrote by one of the surfers. Another surfer wrote: “Sorry, but your training is at a basic level dude. You have some random kid wearing headgear that hits you.”

Ford, commonly referred to as “the scariest man in the world,” said people asked him about the legitimacy of the battle after watching his opponent’s “embarrassing” content. “I was embarrassed, really embarrassed,” he told Mirror Fighting. “People ask me if it’s a real fight or is it some kind of WWE fight.”

“There’s something in this video. I can not understand what he is doing. The contracts signed and the quarrels are real and he puts out his content like that.”

Other fans commented on Gharibi’s latest video with one comment: “What do you think you’re doing bro”. “Where’s the cardio? You’ll not last 3 minutes,” said one of the followers, with another user adding, “Martin is going to have a fun day with you!”.

Ford seems to be taking his pre-fight training more seriously, being in the gym five hours a day before the fight and even collaborating with kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven.
