Shocking revelation by Sophie Kinsella, "I have brain cancer.  And I'm doing chemo"

The British writer, Sophie Kinsella, has announced that she has been diagnosed with brain cancer. “To my dear readers and followers, I have wanted to share a health update with you for a long time and have been waiting for the strength to do so,” the 54-year-old wrote to her followers. Kinsella, best known for writing the ‘Shopaholic’ book series, shared a statement from her on her social media channels: “In late 2022, I was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a form of aggressive brain cancer “. Kinsella – whose real name is Madeleine Sophie Wickham – said she had been “under the care of the excellent team at University College Hospital in London”, and had undergone “successful surgery and subsequent radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which is still ongoing.”
