A film with “very uncomfortable themes”

In an interview with Entertainment WeeklyTatum gave some details about Blinks twice. “I play someone a little darker than what I’ve played before,” the actor said.

“We’re definitely going to explore some very uncomfortable topics and I don’t want to give too much away, but I’ve never played a character like this. It was scary to do it, because give something to talk when it comes out. I think people will want to talk about it. That’s the goal, in a way. “It is destined to disturb you,” added the protagonist, who is Kravitz’s romantic partner.

“I was looking for someone who had never played a dark character before. It’s exciting to see someone who has mainly played the boy next door, the good guy, the love interest, all that… I felt, even before I met him, that was a feminist and that he wasn’t afraid to explore that darkness,” Kravitz told WSJ Magazine about Tatum’s election.
