In July 2022, there were 4 times more COVID-19 victims in Israel than in June

According to reports published by the Ministry of Health, 419 people became victims of COVID-19 in Israel in the last month (July 2022). This is four times more than it was in June 2022.

As of the beginning of August 2022, the total number of victims of the coronavirus epidemic in Israel (since spring 2020): 11377 people.

Relative mortality from coronavirus in Israel: 1219 per 1 million population (84th in the world). Lethality (the ratio of the number of deaths to the total number of infected) – 0.25%. The global average mortality rate of the coronavirus pandemic is 1.1%.
