Donald Trump pays curious praise to Alex Poatan when announcing UFC Casa Branca

Poatan highlighted the importance of participating in the historic event promoted by the UFC at the official residence of the North American government.

“I would like to thank you for the opportunity to be fighting at the White House as you said. A unique event, where everyone wanted to be fighting, and we are being part of this very special feat”, declared the Brazilian.

During the ceremony, Trump also praised Poatan when commenting on the Brazilian’s knockout power.

“One of the best punches in the history of the business. I just shook his hand and he has a huge, powerful hand,” said the President of the United States.

UFC Casa Branca will feature two title fights. In the main fight, Topuria faces Gaethje for the lightweight title. Poatan faces Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight belt.

If he wins, the Brazilian could achieve a historic milestone in the UFC: winning titles in three different categories.
