Club from Paraná has million-dollar modernization of stadium

The Pinhão renovation project still indicates an almost complete change with the construction of boxes, cabins and rooms for the press. In addition, the plan is for new changing rooms, coverage of one of the sectors, lighting for night games and the replacement of the synthetic lawn.

The expectation is that the works will finish at the end of this year to host São Joseense’s matches in the 2027 Paranaense Championship.

São Joseense has already played in the three main stadiums in Curitiba

Without their home, São Joseense played in the three stadiums in Curitiba during the Campeonato Paranaense and finished with the fifth best average attendance, with 3,905 paying fans. The club was only behind the finalists Londrina and Operário and the duo Athletico and Coritiba.

The best audience was in the debut against Galo Maringá, with 5,183 paying fans at the Arena da Baixada. The RMC club also brought 4,246 fans to Cianorte and 2,682 to Operário, both in Vila Capanema. In the knockout stages, 3,507 people were at Couto Pereira for the clash with Londrina.

In Series D, São Joseense has been playing all its matches at Vila Capanema. The best attendance was in the first game against São José-RS, with 1,664 people. The other two matches had low attendances – 479 people against Blumenau and 357 in the Paraná duel with Azuriz.

For the next round, the team from São José dos Pinhais will play again at the Paraná Clube stadium against Brasil de Pelotas, on Sunday (24), at 4pm. The club’s expectation for the continuation of Series D is to play at Vila Olímpica do Boqueirão, another Paranista stadium, but is still awaiting reports.

On the field, the team led by Ageu Gonçalves is third in group A16 of Series D, with 11 points, a campaign of three wins, two draws and two defeats. The distance to São José, the first team outside the G4, is already five points.
