2.500 Box-Fans experienced a powerful return to the Vienna hay market. The fights of the Bounce Fight Night had it all – especially the main fight.
Mobin Kahraze from the Vienna boxing club Bounce was chosen as the new one WBF light heavyweight world champion. After a dramatic fight that will go down in Austrian boxing history, Kahraze defeated in an Austrian duel Mansur Elsaev by points and became the second bouncer to catch up Michaela Kotaskova, a boxing world title to Austria.
Kotaskova herself also got into the ring and defeated the Czech Ester Konecna after weak resistance unanimously on points. The 34-year-old bounce athlete will now take her summer break and look forward to new challenges in the fall.
The Bounce Fight Night was disappointing for the Austrian Howig Grigoryan. He gave the German Anas El Abid a very good fight in the middleweight division, but had to admit defeat after a controversial verdict from the judges.
Organizer and Bounce boss Marcos Nader showed itself with the audience interest and the course of the event 18. Bounce Fight Night highly satisfied. There hasn’t been a boxing event at Heumarkt for more than 70 years, “this fight between Mobin Kahraze and Mansur Elsaev will go down in Austrian boxing history.”
