Florentino Pérez, already proclaimed in the minutes as president of Real Madrid until 2030

This Thursday, the Real Madrid Electoral Board delivered the act of proclamation as president to Florentino Pérez, after having been re-elected to that position on June 7 thanks to 65% of the votes, defeating rival candidate Enrique Riquelme at the polls, who obtained 35% of the members’ support.

The boardroom of the Madrid club’s Ciudad Deportiva, in Valdebebas, hosted this act of presidential proclamation of Pérez and the appointment of its Board of Directors, formed by himself along with 18 other people. Eduardo Fernández de Blas, Pedro López, Enrique Sánchez and Enrique Pérez will be its four vice presidents.

The white entity, in its press release, recalled that Pérez will face his eighth term as president until 2030. Since he took office in July 2000 and until now, with a hiatus between 2006 and 2009, Real Madrid has won 66 titles: 37 in football and 29 in basketball.
