Sinner exceeds million in prizes but is only twenty-sixth

With his triumph at the Miami Open, Jannik Sinner takes home one million and 250 thousand dollars which brings his total career prizes just under 21 million and 200 thousand dollars. The blue player, who with yesterday’s success displaced the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in second place in the ATP ranking, thus becomes the 26th tennis player of all time in terms of earnings, ahead of champions such as Goran Ivanisevic and Stefan Edberg who however belong to a tennis, that of the 90s, which was certainly less rich. The ‘Scrooge’ of all time in this sport remains the current world number one Novak Djokovic who, also thanks to his 24 Slams, is close to reaching the stratospheric sum of 200 million dollars.
