PlayStation Plus, the monthly games for September

The setting moves to occupied France, with a plot that develops in parallel to the events of Sniper Elite 5. The campaign can be tackled in cooperative and the Axis Invasion mode returns, in which it is possible to interfere in another player’s game in the role of an enemy sniper. There is no shortage of competitive online, with battles for up to 16 players to earn experience, medals and trophies, as well as a cooperative survival mode for up to four people.

For sports fans, MLB The Show 26 arrives, a PS5 exclusive, which focuses on renewed modes and more refined stadium effects. New features include an expanded Road To The Show path with access to the MLB Draft Combine and eleven new colleges, as well as the ability to build a team with player cards from every era of baseball, including Red Diamond rarities linked to events such as the World Baseball Classic and the 2026 All-Star Game. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also receive, for a limited time, the Jump Star bundle, designed to give an initial boost to both their career player and their team in Diamond Dynasty.

The third title is Wobbly Life, available on PS5 and PS4: an open world sandbox playable with up to four people, online or in local split-screen cooperative, where most of the elements of the scenario are interactive. Between themed missions, minigames and secrets scattered across a tropical island, the game also offers an Arcade mode with variations such as Trash Zone, Hide & Seek and Wobble Run.

Closing the selection is Chained Echoes, on PS4, a 16-bit style single-player RPG that tells the journey of a group of heroes across the continent of Valadis, divided by a conflict between three kingdoms. Between plateaus, archipelagos and submerged cities, the combat alternates swords, magic and pilotable mechs, in a declared homage to the classics of the genre.

For those who have not yet completed the August collection, time is running out: subscribers have until Sunday 31 August to add Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis to their library, before the three titles leave the monthly catalogue.
