French police foiled a terrorist attack near an American bank in Paris by detaining a man who was about to detonate an improvised explosive device, AFP reports.
The incident occurred early on the morning of Saturday, March 28, near the Bank of America building, near the Champs-Elysees.
According to one of the sources, the police detained the man immediately after he installed the device, consisting of a five-liter canister of flammable liquid, and an ignition system.
