Trump: Iran could be destroyed overnight, and that night could come tomorrow

At a press conference at the White House on April 6, US President Donald Trump issued sharp warnings to Tehran. “The whole country could be destroyed in one night, and that night could come as early as tomorrow,” he said at the very beginning of the briefing.

Trump has called tomorrow, before 8:00 pm Eastern Time, the deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz, otherwise Iran will face massive attacks on Iranian infrastructure.

Shortly before the press conference began, Iran rejected the latest ceasefire proposal, saying it would only accept a complete and final end to the war with guarantees that attacks would not resume. Commenting on the response, Trump told reporters during an event on the South Lawn of the White House: ‘They’ve made a proposal and it’s a significant step. But that’s not enough.”
