“Iran rejected the ceasefire offer and emphasized the need for an indefinite cessation of war,” reports the Iranian state news agency IRNA.
According to the same source, Iran’s response consisting of 10 points was conveyed to the American side through Pakistan. “It refers to the termination of the regional conflict, unhindered navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of sanctions,” IRNA informs.
Earlier today, the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghai, announced that Tehran’s response to the American proposal to stop military operations is ready. The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said:
“A few days ago, Pakistan and a number of other friendly countries presented us with the 15-point plan created by the USA. At the time, we declared that such proposals were unusual, illogical and excessive. This is unacceptable for us.”
