At the regular election convention of the Vukovar SDP held on Saturday, the current president Kruno Ragu; he was chosen to lead the Vukovar organization for the next four years. The City Committee of SDP Vukovar stands for the vision of the development of Vukovar through re-industrialization, new jobs and a focus on good coexistence and the future. “I will also deal with life, people and building a fairer society. Our problem is also children who not only attend different programs, go to different classes, but also go to different shifts. We have clearly emphasized that and we will continue to do so, we must never again allow, especially in Vukovar, that we kill each other again and that our children end our wars,” said Raguž.
He also stood up for the end of the “harassment of citizens with war themes in order to cover up incompetence and manipulation”, saying that it is time for Vukovar to turn to the future.
Vice-presidents and the secretary of the city organization were also elected, as well as members of the new City Committee.
