Dead baby discovered: Pregnant woman flees hospital during abortion

Poša (Slovakia) – How scared this mother must have been: When she comes to the hospital, she is already five months pregnant. Doctors give her medication and an injection, then they want to abort her baby. But the completely overwhelmed woman sees only one way out: she runs headlong from the clinic.

The sad case occurred near the village of Poša in the east of the Slovakia. After the mother fled, the police received several tips. Officers later discovered her dead baby, buried in a hole behind a bush.

Doctor advised abortion

How could this tragedy have happened? The woman herself spoke about the background on local television – she had acted out of desperation and fear. She has had several children in the past few years, but with the last one everything was different.

“I went to the consultation. The doctor said I had to have an abortion,” the woman, who did not want to reveal her name or age, told TV Noviny. During examinations, the unborn baby showed severe developmental problems in the head and limbs. At this point she was already in her fifth month pregnancy been.

Mother: “The baby fell out of me”

The woman was admitted to the Vranov hospital, where she was abortion I also initially agreed. When she was given an injection and medication shortly before the procedure, she fled in panic. Then it happened: “I came home and this Baby fell out of me,” said the mother. The fetus was already dead, she claims. So she dug a hole and put it in. “What was I supposed to do?” She did not make an emergency call.

A forensic medical examination has now been ordered for the dead fetus. Criminal proceedings have already been initiated for desecration of the peace of the dead.
