Tehran accused the United States of making “excessive demands”, Iranian state media reported.
This statement came simultaneously with publications in the American press that Washington is considering the possibility of launching new military strikes while the leadership of the Islamic Republic is studying the latest US proposal.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in a telephone conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, said that Tehran remains involved in the diplomatic process.
At the same time, Araqchi emphasized that this is happening despite “repeated betrayals of diplomats, military aggression against Iran, as well as the contradictory position and constant excessive demands” from the United States.
