DISTURBING In Rijeka, they beat a foreigner, jumped on his chest! They are charged with attempted murder

In the video, the young men are making fun of the stranger, one is holding him, the other is hitting him. They beat him even when he is on the ground. In one episode, the savage runs up and jumps with two feet on a stranger who is, apparently, unconscious.

Two female voices are heard in the background, one female voice laughs. At one point, he was turned on his side, and one young man says:

‘Just don’t let him die’.

The Rijeka police reported four young Croatian citizens for the brutal attack. As it turned out, the victim is a 25-year-old Syrian seaman, who somehow escaped without serious injuries, and it all happened on January 31. As the police announced, two suspects (18 and 19 years old) attacked a 25-year-old man and stole his money and mobile phone. They are suspected of attempted murder and robbery, while two 18-year-old girls are charged with incitement to attempted murder and robbery.

The police searched the apartments of the suspects in this terrible case, and in the 18-year-old’s possession they found objects from the A category of prohibited weapons, so the police additionally suspected him of illegal possession, production and procurement of weapons and explosive substances. After the completion of the investigation, all suspects were handed over to the custody supervisor.

Police officers of the 1st Rijeka Police Station in cooperation with the Criminal Police Department of the Primorsko-Goranska PU conducted a criminal investigation of four Croatian citizens aged 18 and 19 on suspicion of committing multiple criminal acts against a 25-year-old citizen of Syria. Through the criminal investigation, it was established that on January 31 of this year at around 11:35 p.m. in the Rijeka area, a 25-year-old citizen of Syria was physically attacked and his money and mobile phone were stolen. The victim was seriously injured in the incident.

The criminal investigation established a well-founded suspicion that two suspects aged 18 and 19 committed the criminal offenses of attempted murder and robbery, while two 18-year-old female suspects are charged with incitement to commit the criminal offense of attempted murder and the criminal offense of robbery. During the criminal investigation, on the basis of the order of the investigating judge of the County Court in Rijeka, searches were conducted of apartments and other premises in the area of Rijeka used by the suspects, during which items belonging to the A category, i.e. prohibited weapons, were found in the possession of the 19-year-old suspect, for which he was additionally suspicions of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession, manufacture and procurement of weapons and explosive substances.
Upon completion of the criminal investigation, the suspects were handed over to the custody supervisor along with the criminal report.
