Two Palestinians killed, including a girl, in an Israeli attack on a displaced persons camp in Gaza

At least two Palestinians, including a girl, have been killed and 17 others have been injured in an attack carried out by the Israeli Army against a displaced persons camp in Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire in force since October 2025.

Sources from the Naser Hospital cited by the Palestinian newspaper ‘Filastin’ have indicated that the deceased are Hanan Abdelnaser Mahmud and Mena Alá abú Labdé, a minor. The attack has also caused a fire in several tents used by displaced people, without Israel having commented on the matter.

The Gaza authorities, controlled by Hamas, have this Monday raised the death toll from Israeli attacks to more than 900 since the beginning of the ceasefire, before adding that the offensive launched by Israel after the attacks on October 7, 2023 – which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official balance – already leaves nearly 72,800 dead and more than 172,800 injured.
