Elections in Armenia: Trump supported Pashinyan’s candidacy

Trump recalls the recent visit to Armenia of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who signed several agreements, noting that the agreements provide “wonderful American energy companies” with access from Central Asia to the United States.

“Therefore, I express my full support for Nikol in the re-election on May 7. With his help, we will take the United States, Armenia, the South Caucasus and Central Asia to even greater heights. Let’s make (Armenia) great again – MAGA!” – he adds.

The course of the Armenian government causes significant dissatisfaction in Moscow. On May 27, it became known that Armenia received a letter from Russia about the possibility of unilaterally denouncing the agreement on the supply of natural gas, oil products and rough diamonds.

“Continuing practical steps to deepen Armenia’s interaction with the European Union and the declared desire of the Armenian government to join the EU threaten the preservation and development of the fundamentally high level of Russian-Armenian cooperation,” Russian authorities say.
