Kyrgyzstan has been removed from the aviation “black list” of the EU, the AFP agency reports. The Kyrgyz President’s office informed that the EU transport department informed the official Bishkek about removing the airlines registered in the country from the “black list” in a special letter.
“This is a historic event and a great victory, which will create new prospects for the development of aviation in our country,” the staff of the Kyrgyz president announced.
Kyrgyzstan was included in the EU aviation “blacklist” in 2006 due to concerns in Brussels regarding flight safety.
