She also asserted that more than 2,000 young people move to the area of ​​the county every year, and the number of returnees with children is also increasing, so that 169 returnee children are enrolled in local schools this school year.

In particular, she emphasized that an almost double increase in salaries and pensions was recorded compared to the period of 10 years ago and referred to the construction project of the new KBC Osijek.

“The SDP and Možemo have nothing to claim in Slavonia, the SDP and Možemo have not brought anything good to Slavonia, nor do they say anything good or plan to work with Slavonia,” says Tramišak.

Osijek Mayor Ivan Radi said that he hoped for an apology from the former SDP minister Siniša Hajdaš Dončić to the citizens of Osijek, Slavonia and Baranja for the injustice he committed 13 years ago, when he announced that he was abandoning the continuation of the construction of the Zagreb-Sisak and Osijek-Hungary highways.

“Thanks to this government, Prime Minister Plenko and the then county of Anuša, the highway remained and today the traffic has increased by 50 percent since the highway corridor was built to the border with Madagascar,” said Radi.

He asserted that until 2021, Osijek stagnated, and “we know who was in power in Osijek then” (Osijek’s mayor at the time was Ivica Vrki).

The city of Osijek is currently experiencing the largest investment cycle in its recent history, a record budget, record high employment, record low unemployment, and we have exceeded 50,000 employees in the city itself, emphasized Radić.
