Trump: Iran launched four drones at ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump wrote on the Truth Social network: “Iran launched at least four drones at ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz. One of the drones directly hit the upper deck of a large and very expensive cargo ship. Damage was caused, but the ship was able to continue its journey. We shot down three other drones. Clearly, this is a stupid violation of the ceasefire agreement.”

The day before, The Wall Street Journal reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked a ship in the Gulf of Hormuz. According to sources, we are talking about a cargo ship flying the Singapore flag, which was located off the coast of Oman.

The attack came hours after the IRGC navy warned ships that it would not allow shipping routes in the strait that were not approved by the Iranian regime to be used.
