IRGC reports strike on eight US bases

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported strikes on eight US military targets in the Middle East, including al-Salam airbase in Kuwait and the Mina Salman naval base in Bahrain.

“The large-scale operation carried out by the IRGC Aerospace Forces and Navy involved both drones and missiles. This is a decisive response to the new American aggression against our shores,” the report said, as quoted by the Maan news agency.

An official US source told Reuters there were no casualties in the strikes. There are no reports of damage to the bases.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry again accused the United States of violating the signed memorandum: “The brutal attacks on our southern coast demonstrate that the United States does not intend to adhere to its commitments. It is in their nature to violate treaties.”

Let us recall that the cause of the escalation of the conflict was Iranian attacks on commercial ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz along a safe corridor in the territorial waters of Oman.
