A man was run over by his own car and sustained serious injuries. The 68-year-old got out of his vehicle parked on Gebrüder-Hirth-Straße in Bohnsdorf (Treptow-Köpenick) on Tuesday evening, as the Berlin police announced. He then went to the rear of the car, which began to move backwards for an unknown reason. It ran over the man and then damaged two parked vehicles before coming to a stop.
The injured 68-year-old received medical care from an emergency doctor at the scene of the accident. The man was then taken to a hospital in an ambulance for inpatient treatment. According to current police findings, there is no danger to life.
