The IRGC again threatened “inevitable revenge” for the liquidation of Ismail Haniyya in 2024

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) published an official statement on the two-year anniversary of the liquidation of the head of the Politburo of the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, Ismail Haniyya, in Tehran.

In an official statement, the IRGC again threatens Israel with an “inevitable and decisive response” for the murder of Ismail Haniyya. “We consider the murder of Ismail Haniyya, who was in Tehran as a guest, as a violation of international law and Iranian sovereignty and hold the enemy responsible for this crime,” the statement said.

“Continued support for Israel by the United States and Western countries makes those who provide this support complicit in crimes committed against the Palestinian people,” the IRGC reports. Note that after the actual liquidation of Ismail Haniyya, the IRGC repeatedly threatened Israel with “inevitable revenge” for it, and repeatedly stated that “Israel paid the price” for the liquidation of the Hamas leader.

Recall that Ismail Haniya was liquidated as a result of an air conditioner explosion in a guesthouse in the center of Tehran on July 31, 2024. In recent years before his liquidation, he lived in Doha (Qatar), and his personal fortune was estimated at more than $4 billion.
