The Netflix hit series “Emily in Paris” returns one last time – on Christmas Eve. From December 24th, the sixth and final season about the ambitious marketing woman Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), who moved from the USA to Paris, will be shown on the streaming provider. In addition to France, Emily also ends up in Greece, where her ex and long-term love interest Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) was recently traveling on a boat.
Netflix has not yet revealed in detail what exactly will happen in the season. It’s about a “new chapter full of ambition and romance” and “groundbreaking decisions”. So far, so well known for the series. The season should provide an answer as to whether the American will stay in Europe long-term or ultimately move back to the USA. “Season six will bring you everything you love about the show,” Tudum, Netflix’s fan hub, quotes lead actress Collins.
Series producer Darren Star, who also created “Sex and the City,” tells the medium: “I wanted the final season to feel like the biggest Emily in Paris experience yet.” The audience should follow Emily’s journey up close. “That’s what makes Europe so fascinating: the next adventure, a new culture and a fascinating place are right on your doorstep.”
