In another serious accident nearby, an 18-year-old man died in the passenger seat shortly afterwards.

According to the police, the teenager drove around 4 p.m. together with a 25-year-old in a VW Golf on the S 169 from Leupoldishain (Königsstein) in the direction of Krietzschwitz (Pirna).

There the car crashed into the Ford of a 54-year-old woman. The 25-year-old and the Ford driver were seriously injured in the collision. Any help came too late for the 18-year-old passenger in the Golf, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
