Petro Poroshenko: “People melt snow to get water”

Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko gave an interview to the BBC channel https://www.bbcrussian.com/russian/live/news-60661774, returning to Kyiv from Irpin, where attempts were made to evacuate local residents. Poroshenko spoke about the humanitarian crisis in Irpen. According to him, people are forced to melt snow to get water, there is no electricity, no heating, no food, no medicine in the city.

Asked if he believes Moscow will respect the ceasefire in key cities and keep humanitarian corridors open, Poroshenko said he had a very bad experience with Vladimir Putin when he was in power and warned the world so that he does not trust the Russian president.

Poroshenko also said that he considers it necessary to close the sky at least over nuclear power plants.
