In the fairytale-like Liesjärvi National Park, you can stay in the primeval forest and marvel at the life of a traditional farm – Matka

In the Liesjärvi National Park in Kanta-Hämee, you can walk in the primeval forest, see a rare nester and take a peek into the everyday life of the 1910s at the Korteniemi traditional farm.

One of Liesjärvi’s most popular routes is Kyynäränharju, along which you can admire the lake scenery on both sides of the narrow isthmus.

Green mossy fields and the sun filtering through the trees create a fairy-tale atmosphere in the forest. Mossy hummocks call nature armchairs, but in the national park it is best to stay on the path to leave as few traces as possible on nature.
